Manuel Santos (born February 10, 2005, in Berlin; born as Manuel Philipp Santos Gelke) is a German actor. Santos began acting at a young age. At the age of eleven, he signed with an acting agency and, following an audition, landed the lead role of Otto in the feature film Benjamin Blümchen. Filming took place in 2017. In 2018, he took on the lead role of Karl Vierstein in the film TKKG. This was followed by further appearances in television productions, including the hospital series Nachtschwestern and, in 2024, the first season of Das Küstenrevier. Alongside his acting career, Santos has also achieved success in science competitions. In 2018, he won first prize in the Technology category at Jugend forscht (Youth Researches) for a plant fertilizer dosing system for aquariums. Furthermore, he has excelled in mathematics competitions such as the Mathematics Olympiad, the Känguru der Mathematik (Kangaroo Math Competition), and the Pangea Mathematics Competition.
